To reduce the incidence of substance abuse and their related costs, pain, suffering, and consequences, through mobilization and education of the community.
Enhancing the Health & Well Being of Morgan County residents
Prime Time of Morgan County, Inc. consists of community volunteers interested in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) abuse issues. Each year we develop a community plan to prevent and reduce substance abuse in Morgan County. Grants are awarded annually to community organizations from fees collected on DUI and drug possession charges. These fees are used in support of prevention/education, intervention/treatment, and law enforcement/judicial programs or activities.
Monthly meetings are held to continually educate those interested in ATOD issues and share current information or concerns. We also participate in many community events to raise awareness about ATOD abuse.
We strive to meet the needs of the community to the best of our ability. If you think certain programs or activities are needed, please feel free to share your ideas.
